COLLECTOR AMASSED 1,000 BLACK SANTAS IN 29 YEARS

Jimmie Fryer enjoys his hobby a lot. The Alabama resident has amassed a vast collection of Black Santas over the past 29 years. After seeing the jolly, brown-skinned fictitious character in a local JCPenney store, he immediately bought several. His collection today includes more than 1,000, including the Baker Santa figurine collection and the high- quality Possible Dreams collection from Department 56. Each Santa is meticulously displayed throughout his home and along the stairwell of his two-story house in Phenix City.
