New Leaders Council picks Little Rock for annual convention

New Leaders Council (NLC), a premier leadership and professional development organization targeted to America’s millennials will host their next convention in Little Rock. The event will be held August 3-6 at the Little Rock Marriott.
Creating change where change is needed is the rallying cry for the four-day event. Organizers see Arkansas as a state where an ecosystem of local change makers is greatly needed and NLC is committed to train and invest in leaders who are committed to moving the communities they serve and country forward.
According to their website, for 15 years, NLC has trained over 10,000 alumni from 50 chapters across the United States, creating an ecosystem of leaders making collective positive impact in their communities.
In 2023, NLC accepted over 400 members called fellows across the nation from diverse races, gender, and ethnic backgrounds. Many of the fellows and alumni members are elected officials, executives who lead nonprofits or large private corporations. Some run business startups or are working on introducing equitable policies in their local, state, and federal government. The organization boast that all members collaborate in some matter in their communities to effect positive change.
More than 300 change makers, community influencers, and stakeholders will hear from influential speakers, participate in collaborative workshops.
